Local architecture firm, Archicraft, has been hired to rebuild the Palisades Hills Recreation Center at 16721 Monte Hermoso Dr.. “It’s an honor for our team at archicraft to help rebuild a centerpiece of the Highlands community. From the moment we first met Cali Ben-Victor, HOA board member of the Highlands and spearheading the rebuild process, it was clear this project was the right fit.

For years, Highlands parents and children have relied on this community center as a gathering place for families and friends. It’s far more than walls and a roof; it’s a uniter across generations, past and future.
To help inspire, we created a few early mood board concepts showing how the community center might be reimagined. These are just preliminary ideas, not final designs, which will be led by archicraft co-founder Marija Volkman, and supported by partner Tyler Vaughn. Founded two decades ago in Prague, and with a Los Angeles office established for over a decade, archicraft continues to serve both European and California markets. We’re proud to share that we authored the official City of Los Angeles rebuild guide, which will be announced by the Mayor’s office on September 17, 2025.

With several fire rebuilds already underway, our team at archicraft is grateful to play a role in helping rebuild the Palisades community, and we look forward to seeing this vibrant Los Angeles neighborhood flourish again.” –Tyler Vaughn, Partner @ Archicraft
