The Board of Public Works will vote on improvements Friday, May 29th at 10:15 AM.

As the community rebuilds and returns stronger, Caruso proposes to finance, construct, and maintain improvements to the streetscape on Sunset Blvd between Monument and Swarthmore at no cost to the City or the community. The proposed plan introduces renewed vibrancy, safety, and visual continuity to an area significantly impacted by the fires by extending the pedestrian focused sidewalk design elements on Swarthmore at Palisades Village.

Through sidewalk enhancements, consistent placement of appropriate tree species, refined paving, thoughtfully designed street furnishings and additional landscaping, Sunset Blvd. between Monument and Swarthmore will be more welcoming, safe and connected.

Permitting is underway, and the Board of Public Works will vote on these improvements this Friday, May 29th at 10:15 AM.
